About a week ago the water pressure from the faucet in my kitchen sink just disappeared. Even at full blast the water barely comes out. There is a small leak in the pipes, but that started well before the faucet thing did. Also, we have a sprayer, the kind with the little hose that you can pull out of the sink, and it works just fine. I’m assuming it uses the same pipes as the faucet, so I’m confused. All the other water related sinks and things in the house are working fine. This is the only one.

what setting do we set our water softener on?…also, water pressure?

okay, my husband and neighbor installed our water softener yesterday. i guess you have to set it up, and the water hardness levels range from 0 to 100…how do we know what to set that on? is 50 a good medium guess??? also, i’ve heard that a water softener can mess with your water pressure. our pressure seems the same everywhere except the kitchen. we have a faucet that pulls out with the sprayer…you push in a button to turn on/off the sprayer. well, that doesn’t even work now, because the pressure is so low coming out of the faucet. is this normal??? i can hold in the button to get it to spray some, but it needs more pressure for me to be able to let go of the button and it still stay on the spray setting.

Kitchen faucet only goes all the way on or off. How do I fix this?

I have a single lever price fister kitchen faucet that comes out from the base and can become a sprayer. My main issue is with the handle. I can either turn the water on all the way or off. When I pull the handle anywhere in the middle for less water pressure it turns itself off. There is a screw for the handle that I have tightened as much as possible but it still won’t work. How can I fix this? thanks in advance!

Kitchen faucet has low water pressure/low slow stream esp on hot water?

An in-law addition was recently added to my house with a small wetbar. A kitchen faucet similar to the Delta "Palo Diamond" or Kohler "Coralais" style with a pull out sprayer and a way to switch between regular flow and spray flow was installed in the wet bar in November. For about 2 months it worked just fine, with regular pressure, etc. About two months ago, it started to act like it was clogged. Drop in pressure, especially when using the hot water, and if you put it in "spray mode" it will run out of pressure and either shut itself off or switch over to stream mode (with a very weak stream). Water pressure in other parts of the addition (shower, bathroom) are just fine.

I tried taking the cover off the end of the sprayer with needle-nose pliers, and got that assembly off, rinsed it off to see if it had debris in it and found none. It had a four very narrow screen/filter things inside the assembly, so I even took one of those out to see if it would make a difference, and it did not.

Other than buying and installing a new faucet, can anyone suggest something else to try?

Thanks!

What is wrong with my new kitchen faucet?

This was installed by the the remodeling contractor . . . very expensive goose-neck fixture with a joystick regulator, flexible lines and a pull-out nozzle. The nozzle hose sticks and the lines get kinked up, the water pressure lessens, and have to constantly re-kink. Is this installed wrong? Are there any special installations tricks to keep everything in place so this system operated properly?

Loss of water pressure in kitchen faucet?

About a week ago the kitchen faucet lost water pressure, but the pull out sprayer works fine along with the bathroom sinks. I have taken off the aerator and cleaned it it helped a lil bit. but still the water pressure it not like before and it makes a scrubbing noise like when i turn on the faucet. If any one knows what i am talking about or how to fix it would greatly appreciate it

kitchen faucet made a loud thump. now only half the pressure?

My kitchen faucet made a loud thump while i was washing dishes and now i only have half the water pressure. All other faucets in the house work fine and pipes are not frozen. This faucet is the kind that pulls out and can be used as a sprayer . IT has a single handle that lifts up for more pressure and left to right for hot and cold.Any idea what might have happend or how to fix?

What faucet would be best?

I’m looking for a pull out spray faucet that has some pressure behind it when you change it to the "sprayer" function. I had bought one like the one here:

http://www.dealyard.com/catalog/Kitchen-Faucets/Delta-SBS-81410-WH-White-Pull-out-Kitchen-Faucet-Spray

The only real problem was that it simply didn’t have the pressure behind the spray part to get food off of dishes and stuff. We don’t have a water pressure problem (used to have a cheapo sprayer separate from the faucet that had plenty of pressure) so I’m not sure what went wrong with my purchase, but it wasn’t what I had in mind.

My budget requires that I stay under 0 for the faucet, and I would really prefer to stay around the -0 range if possible. The style I am hoping to get is something more like this one:

http://www.faucet.com/decor/product.pl?mid=49450&fh=Chrome&N=103+55+219+3000356

It needs to be tall like that to compensate for my shallow sinks so that I can easily wash big pans.

Anyone have one that fits my description that they would recommend and where to buy it?

Thanks!
So no one knows of a specific faucet in my price range and where to get it? :-(
