hi
I bought a new kohler kitchen faucet to replace my old one. It is the same model and it a single arm unit with a pull out sprayer. The new model is cheaply made and the sprayer hose is made of cheap black plastic while my old sprayer has a nice stainless steel hose. I want to keep the old sprayer and install it in the new base. PROBLEM. the new sprayers have a plug in style connector to get the hose connected to the water supply. My old sprayer hose is the old screw on style. can I convert the old screw on to the new plug in?? thanks!

I have checked the water lines going in to the faucet and they have plenty of pressure. I have taken off the aerator and cleaned; turned the water on without it on and still nothing. I have disconnected the lines going into the faucet and blown air into the faucet to try to break free any build up in the line but this also had no affect (except making me a little dizzy).
With these "tests" done, I am thinking that there must be a problem inside the faucet handle i.e. the cartridge.
I took off the handle and under that is a plastic piece that turns about a total of 90 degrees (as much as the handle normally would); it also pivots up and down (like the handle as well). I imagine I need to get this piece out in order to get to the cartridge, washer, etc; this is where the real problem starts. This plastic piece does not simply pull up and out and the does not seem to have any type of pin or screw etc holding it in place. It does have "teeth" around it (imagine you are looking into a socket, the teeth are like that). I’m guessing that I need to find a tool to fit in there (if one exists) to unscrew that piece.
Just moved into the house so there is no owners manual available and I cannot seem to find any type of manufacturing label for the faucet. Any help, ideas, answers etc. would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

This is the kind of faucet where you push on the front part to do plain water flow or spray. That piece where the water actually comes out pulled off. It also is a removable hand sprayer with a metal coiling hose which pulls out.
I can pull out the end of the coiled hose and I can fit it back into the nozzle, but it won’t stay hooked. The nozzle which came off has some male screw ridges, but there seems to be nothing inside for it to actually screw onto and hold.
The smaller end of the metal coiled hose which pulls out fits neatly onto or into the end of the nozzle piece, but if I pull on the nozzle at all it comes off and water shoots out all over the place.
Is it possible that there is another small piece which would hold them together? I didn’t find anything on the floor or in the sink.
Do you think I’ll have to replace the whole quit expensive faucet?
The faucet has initials FP on the front.

I have a single lever price fister kitchen faucet that comes out from the base and can become a sprayer. My main issue is with the handle. I can either turn the water on all the way or off. When I pull the handle anywhere in the middle for less water pressure it turns itself off. There is a screw for the handle that I have tightened as much as possible but it still won’t work. How can I fix this? thanks in advance!

OK, I just purchased a new faucet and in the process of removing the old faucet I have encountered a glitch. Let’s see how to explain: The new faucet has the wire pipes attached that slide into the hole in the sink, right. So while removing the old faucet I see the same metal pipes and the spray hose for the spray. Only thing is there is this old rusty metal bulky circular thing attached to the TOP of the hose for the spray that seems as though it’s purpose was to keep from being able to pull the faucet directly out of the sink. Therefore I must first remove the spray attachments, but the screw comes down pretty easily until I get to the bottom where it seems to get stuck or maybe even stop. Is there a possibility that through some process it was designed this way, such as glue or something? I thought it was gunk, but really it seems to have stopped. If it were not for this bulky thing and the fact that the screw below the bulky thing were not stuck this seems like it would be easy sailing. HELP! FAST!
I just tried the wd-40 and I am convinced there is something at the BOTTOM of this screw keeping me from removing it. I wonder if it’s supposed to come off at all, but what other way to remove the spray hose and especially this bulky ring thing???

Hello.
A faucet’s handle started not working on my sink (kitchen’s).
Hot Water one is okay, but Cold Water isn’t.
The faucet looks like this:

I tried to fix it by myself since I thought something inside the handle is stuck. So, it doesn’t spin with the handle. However, I couldn’t pull the handle out. I unscrewed a top screw, and I wasn’t able to find any other screws around the handle.
Is there any hidden screw somewhere or do I need a special technique? I used a plier to pull it out by the way.
In addition, should I lock the cold water up while doing this job?
Thanks!
